2010's gotta be better....

December 5th, 2009 at 04:46 am

Right???
We are still up in the air, up side down, up a creek, etc.. etc..
DH has still not taken over paying the bills, I am still robbing Peter to pay Paul and wondering how we do Christmas, tires, front end alignment, car inspection and renewal, personal property tax, and on and on.
Anyway, some had wondered where I went. I am still lurking in the blogs. I am just disgusted with our financial life still. Someday my blog will be spunky and frugal again....

It's ok to post even when it's not spunky and frugal. That's what we're here for, to help offer support! I had the same problem awhile back. I just didn't feel like posting because there was NOTHING good to write. There still isn't much, but I try not to stay away forever.

Boo, I sure hope that it is for you and your family.

Dave Ramsey says something like this on his show: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome.

Make this the year to do something different.

Hang in there!!! Try to enjoy the quiet, inexpensive parts of the holiday, like listening to music and checking out the lights. Get a good fire going and try to shut everything else out for a few hours...

    Boo,

We like to hear from you one way or the other. And, yes, I'm hoping that 2010 will be a better year for you!

(((Boom))) Hang in there. Do what you can. Give the girls cash to spend at the after Christmas sales where it will go farther. Remember you cannot change anyone, only yourself (I had to learn that the hard way)!

I think that the best part of these blogs is that they can lead to seeing both sides of the financial picture... it isn't always frugal and spunky and finding things for a penny, you know? The only thing we have insurance on in this life is that real life brings real challenges, and it is the overcoming of them that makes the blogs worth reading and the life worth living. Good luck! I hope that the season is a good one, nonetheless...
