Woo Hoo! A NO SPEND DAY!! Did'nt go anywhere and it feels so good!
Fridge is still gimping along. No repair till THURSDAY! Geeze! Putting bottles and milk jugs of frozen water in the fridge to keep it cooler.
Retaped the carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpets today! Much better!
Other than that, still feeling depressed and overwhelmed by our debt and the huge interest rates we are paying. Do you think I should try to get some of these 0% deals they keep sending in the mail? I hate to open new cards!! I am worried about the FICO. But if I don't do something we will drown in the high interest! Thoughts??.........
Break my arm patting myself on the back!

I see you are doing the $20 challenge. Have you modified this challange to put the money straight on your debt? That will help to move the balances down if you aren't doing it already. Everything helps!

I have also been considering moving debt around for lower interest rates etc. but have noticed there is a clause in the Terms & Conditions that goes something like this:
"You must fulfil all requirements in order to benefit from lower interest rates. We reserve the right to adjust your interest rate if these requirements are not met"
Huh? This makes me nervous - if I hiccup at the wrong time they have freedom to do what they want - no thanks.
Decided just to stay where I am, no surprises and keep on keeping on with the larger goal in mind i.e. debt freedom.
Kathy, I keep reminding myself that I didn't get into debt over night so it is not going to go away overnight.
Every tiny bit of progress is progress - be strong and well done on your No Spend Day!
Keep going and thanks for the suggestions for DD's clothes
