Brain farts cost money

With best intentions, I went to Walgreens to use my $5 off coupon with $20 purchase. I bought DD2 a flat iron and I bought a couple of things for the Girl Scouts "April Showers" event. However, after dropping off DD2 at her babysitting job, picking up "the girls" for bunko, and making sure I had money for bunko, I realized I forgot to use my stupid coupon!! >( Doggone it! As a useful bonus however, DD2 does not like the flat iron and wants to return it. Ugh.

    LOL. I was going to start a thread on this very topic today. I've done the same thing 3 times recently, including at a restaurant last night. I have got to start putting the coupon with my credit card so that when I go to pay, the coupon is staring at me.

    Oh, that stinks! At least you can take the flatiron back? April Showers sounds like a fun event. I was a girlscout for 10 years, and still help out with lil sister's troop every now and again. Hope you all have a good time Smile

    You have touched a nerve with all of us on this one...I too am guilty of the mental hiccup about way to many things anymore. Perhaps when you return that flat iron you discover something else that you could save that $5 on---there's always shampoo and toilet paper! lol. Have a great dat Kat!
