I'm unstimulated

The check never came. I tried to catch up with the IRS, but all I got was a maze of numbers to push and a hang up. We should have received our money by deposit on May 9th. I will try to investigate again tomorrow.
We have had nothing but rain and clouds for weeks. Very depressing. Been fighting very hard againist the depression (I've never really HAD depression before), but not so good. Too much debt, a terrible job and lack of ability to be hired anywhere else.... well, it adds up. Ugh.

    Kat...all those debits from the emotional bank do add up when you are under alot of stress...which is what you are when you have to go to a job that you dont enjoy day after day. I am so sorry to hear that things a tough still...keep those eyes and ears open for better opportunities...they are out there...somewhere! Hugs

    I'm unstimulated myself, so you are not alone. There's supposed to be a Where's my refund on the irs.gov site that you might try. At least you won't be in voice jail.

    I don't know when you filed but if you filed the last week like we did; it will take longer. I read that it will take approximately 6 weeks for anyone who filed on April 15th regardless of your social security number. Hope that helps.

    I am unstimulated at well, and I filed way before April 26th. I filed in February!

    Thank you everyone for your advice and kindness! Smile To answer some questions, yes, we filed at the end of January, but I amended it the next day because I forgot to add in some of our health insurnace cost, so I am thinking maybe this did affect it? I tried the irs website and they have no info on it yet, because it won't until it is scheduled to go out. Good ole IRS. Will let you know if I find any answers today.
    Yes, the sun is out today, hope it will help in digging out from under this depression. Is'nt it terrible what you can say to yourself in your own mind just during a normal day? I need to be nicer to myself. I am working on it. I think we need some changes around here!

    Hang in there boo--I was thinking our stimulus would be her by 5/9, but it never showed (we efiled in Feb, refund was direct deposit). I tried the online thing too and no status. So I am going to assume they are sending me a paper check for some reason and I will not get it until around 6/27 (boo!!). I know how it feels to have so many financial hopes and plans but you just can't execute for whatever reason (for me = husband's unemployment). It will all work out, just have faith Smile

    (((HUGS)) I am feeling the same life experiences and also without any stimulus received. What is keeping me going today is that it is FRIDAY!!! Smile
