Cheap Cardinals

Forgot to mention that - Hooray!! The Cardinals are the World Series Champs! Wooo Hooo! Yippeee! Underdogs Rock!!!:-)
Anyway, just had to celebrate a little! We spent many happy evenings, cheaply! watching our favorite team on TV! Even the girls curled up to watch! Inexpensive family fun with an awesome result!

    It was so funny last year. We got back into our areas after Hurricane Rita just before the World Series. People were really worried to get their cable back on so they could watch the Astros. I remember seeing restaurants or bars setting up large screen tvs in parking lots under tents so they could show the games. Some people didn't have cable, some didn't have electricity. I had neighbors who were really anxious. I guess people needed something positive to root for while they were sorting out the messes they had. Congrats on your team's win!
