Another no spender

Wednesday was another no spender. We are out of milk, so I assume I will have to spend at some point. Maybe get gas too, getting to fumes.
So...no new debt.
Got asked to babysit today. This is a blessing of $35 which I needed to cover DD2's shop fee for school. Was running to cover it, so will take it and put it in the bank as soon as I get it. Hooray!

    Congratulations on the no spend days. Something that has helped me in the milk and bread situation is freezing. We don't drink very much milk and sometimes it gets close to the expiration date and I measure out 1 cup, or 2 at a time and freeze it in a baggie. I don't throw out milk anymore. Bread, I try to buy it on sale and freeze a loaf. So far, this has kept me out of the stores. I've only been twice.

    How about doing a written budget... you might find yourself lees concerned about the cost of an apple an not running out of milk and gas...

    We do have a written budget, but with getting my hours cut during Christmas (totally unplanned for!) we have way more bills left at the end of the money! And since I won't use the credit cards or debit cards, it is hard to juggle!
