Baby it's cold outside!

The girls are hoping school will be called off tomorrow. Our school district calls it when it is -30 windchill. I don't think it will get much more than .... -20. Wink Lord, please send these kids to school!

    Our school just got cancelled. We do not have bus service so all parents drive to school---so we got cancelled. AS luck would have it...I am off work on Thursdays. So much for getting things done around the house or running errands! Have a good day--stay warm!

    I grew up in Hawaii for the most part, but I did live in Northern VA for high school and school would get cancelled over slush on the roads. We would be out of school for weeks if 3 inches fell Smile

    It's cold for Texas today - in the high 20's. I can't even begin to imagine what -20 would feel like! Yikes!

    School closed here in Iowa today, but it is -15 before the windchill. Tomorrow will be better, but the kids are already scheduled to be off Friday and Monday. It has turned into a 5 day weekend. Stay warm!

    LOL bendeng, I remember that too! I grew up in Northern VA and people would just panic if there were flurries. Convenience stores would sell out of milk and bread! If it stayed below freezing for more than a couple days straight, it was practically Armageddon.

    Now I live in MN, and when I was about to leave for the bus stop I noticed it was -21, with windchill -30 to -50. I thought about calling work and saying I'd come in late, when it warmed up a bit, but then I was like, nah. Just put on long johns and two pairs of socks, and wrap the scarf extra snugly.

    -30, -20 brrrrrrrrr is right...I would be freezing
