Resisting

I am having trouble resisting buying the extra Christmas gifts. Since I was done early, I have paid everything off, so it is easily tempting to pick up "just one more thing". I did buy MYSELF a black leather jacket. I got it 20% off from JCPenney, so it was $63.00. It is just a short black leather one that "everyone" has been wearing for the last couple of years. I thought it was a great price and I will probably wear it till it falls apart. I told DH he could wrap it up for me for Christmas. He was mad at me and I guess I thought if it was a present, it would justify it. I guess it is "Merry Christmas" to me from me. Will have to think about whether it stays or goes.
I have the urge too, to pick up more gifts for the girls. Especially ones I think will keep them busy during the holiday break!! :-)

    I know what you mean. Just yesterday I thought of a lot of other things that I could get DH, but the Christmas money is gone.

    We must resist!

    just kidding...When I start thinking this way, I always remember that they'll never miss what they never knew... Resist Boo! I am sure you did a fantastic job on those gifts the first go-round....and just remember...every dollar spent is a dollar closer to FULL TIME!!! ack!

    Oh, I do the exact same thing. And I also buy myself a gift or two every year. Partly because some of the things I want, nobody gets me. But a year or two ago I bought myself a pair of short boots on sale knowing that my mom was sending me money for Christmas. I wore those things like crazy! I am also trying this year NOT to buy extra gifts and stick to the budget.....we'll see......
