No job

I FINALLY heard from the library last night (mind you two and half weeks after I interviewed). She told me they offered the job to the other applicant. By this time I had pretty much given up any way, so back to the want ads on Sunday.

I went over our budget and if I can follow it, we should be okay till the end of October, new car payment and all. I really hope to pick up something soon though, to help out with Christmas.

    Man, that's depressing. The least they can do is tell you promptly yea or nay and let you off the hook.

    gosh thats so annoying, it happened to me when i was looking for a job after finishing school. they said "we'll call you" and they never did. it was a restauarnt, and im still dirty on them even three years later! Smile good luck with the job hunting though

    Sorry you didn't get the job. Have you thought about getting with a temp agency? That could help you pick and choose the days you get to be home w/the kiddos.
