Wow! The weatherman was RIGHT!!!!!

We received 8 inches last night. Fun to look at , but already melting. Every school in the region was cancelled so the kids are having fun in the snow! We are lucky to have a big hill on the side of our house, so that is where the neighborhood kids gather to sled!

Thats DD3 on the right and the neighbor girl.

    One of the highlights in a kid's life is "snow days". What fun!

    My kids were just complaining that we haven't had a snow day yet this year. It's great to be a kid...

    we got one today too and have 10" of snow. my kids just got in ruby-cheeked wanting hot chocolate. i have to improvise and use Ghiardelli baking chocolate and powdered sugar.

    We got most of ours yesterday, and it melted today.
    I vote we get a different weatherman-one that gives us sun and 75 degrees.

    Wow it is beautiful, I have never seen snow...it's so white and clean it is beautiful
