Yes, I have to keep a close eye on this. My Citi card payment has been moving backward. I make a budget each month and write down payment due and due date. Now I know that a due date can change because of the weekend or holiday, but then it has been staying earlier the next month and if it adjusts again, it stays even earlier! So yes, I had to pay $39.00 in a late fee. So far they have not raised my interest rate because of it, but I am keeping an eye on it. So I looked at my March budget and made sure to back up the payment AGAIN so it won't be late next month. Tricky sons of guns are'nt they??
I did make my first "snowflake" payment to the American Express. Yeah! March will be sooooo tight unless we get the amended tax return money, that I will have to be very creative making REGULAR payments, let alone any snowflake payments, but I will try!! I took a couple days babysitting jobs. It doesn't pay much, but it is better than nothing!!
CC due dates moving BACKWARDS!

*Joan - no, no change in terms or conditions
*Caoineag - I bet different CC companies do different things
*Steve - I don't get paper bills in the mail, it is by paperless in an email
*Laura - I do pay online, but I go by the dates we get paid on. They are never consistent. I make out a PREDETERMINED budget for the next month and approx pay dates by the days we are paid. Whew!
*Lynnae - if you hadn't already pulverized your CC's we could have had a burning party together! Ewwww Citi!!
*Dane - thanks for the blog compliement!

Same thing. Either way, I would just pay by the due date, whatever that happened to be.
It sounds like you are going paycheck to paycheck, though. If so, I understand how a shifting due date could pose a problem. Just keep plugging away until you can build up a little surplus so that the due date is no longer an issue. You'll get there soon.
