Targets newest "Return Policy" from he**

Well, if you wanted to return something without a receipt before, now is definatley a worse time! IF you choose to buy something from this store, PLEASE do not lose your receipt, especially if you had the NERVE to pay CASH (God forbid!!Frown) If they can look it up by your CC or debit, you are okay, but if you paid cash and it was over $20, you a NO LONGER ALLOWED to return it AT ALL! I did'nt care if they had to send me a check or give me a in store credit, but you are not allowed to return it PERIOD. So, you know I have a long standing problem with this stores "rules", but now it is beyond, beyond!! The clerk smiled at me and told me to use it as a gift!!

    Obviously Target has not heard the voice of the consumer. I understand that stores are taking big hits by shoplifting/returns- but to make the rest of us pay is just plain ridiculous. I will certainly think twice about gift registries at Target from now on...I would hate to give a gift that couldnt be returned.... blah on Target

    Yeah, you're asked to be a responsible adult and hold on to your receipt. My goodness, the nerve of those people at Target! @@

    I actually had a receipt blow away on me in the parking lot one time. Was that irresponsible of me?? I do believe life happens!

    I also believe people get gifts and can not ask for a receipt for one reason or another. Is that irresponsible of them? To have received a gift they could'nt use?

    Its too bad because it's the honest people who are screwed. When I worked at Albertson's we gave refunds for everything with out a receipt and I had this one lady who had a refund basically every day and never had her receipt but once she got the cash she bought cigarettes. She was finally caught shop lifting
